We created an elegant and informative 2D animation for TSD, showcasing how sensitive research data is securely stored, processed, and analyzed within their innovative platform.
For Services for Sensitive Data (TSD), a secure cloud infrastructure developed by the University of Oslo, we created a 2D animation that transformed the complex topic of data storage and analysis into an engaging and memorable story. Our goal was to bring humor, charm, and clarity to a subject that can often feel dry and technical. The result? A light, minimalist animation that resonated with the audience and was praised for its elegance and humor.
The animation followed Lisa, a researcher at UiO, as she navigates the challenges of handling massive amounts of sensitive personal data, including web-based questionnaires, smartphone apps, fMRI scans, and even DNA sequences. With TSD, her team found a secure, user-friendly solution to safely collect, store, and analyze their research data—allowing them to collaborate globally while maintaining the highest standards of data security.
What made this project truly stand out was our studio’s ability to balance informative content with playful, character-driven storytelling. The animation was full of personality, with characters that were both lovable and relatable, making the story stick in viewers’ minds long after they watched it. By combining our creative thinking, artistic skills, and sense of humor, we brought a dry technical subject to life in a way that was enjoyable for both the client and their audience.
We take pride in delivering not only high-quality visuals but also creating a fun, memorable experience for everyone involved in the process. Collaborating with the team at UiO was a blast, and the overwhelmingly positive reception to the animation reinforced that our approach—bringing science and creativity together—is a winning combination!
